Bookmaker limits & starting bankroll for eSoccer
Winning bettors get limited. That's not a scandal, it's the bookies' business model. Here's how much money you really need to start, and how to be ready before your bookie gets jealous. 😏
How much money do you need to start?
Pick a bankroll you could lose without it hurting your life — then bet 1% of it per unit. The unit, not the bankroll, is what matters: the strategy is the same with €300 or €30,000. Most people start with €300–€1,000. Below that, a unit of €2–3 is fine for the bookie, but small wins make it tempting to raise stakes — don't.

Based on my last 14 days: about 125 picks a day at 1.08u on average, and my worst drawdown so far (−17.9u). "Staked per day" is turnover spread over many matches, not money at risk at once. The next bad run can be worse.
What a "limit" is
A limit is when a bookmaker cuts the maximum you can stake — sometimes to a few euros or even cents — on some markets or on everything. It's legal and it's in their terms. They do it to accounts that keep taking prices that turn out to be too generous, and niche markets like eSoccer, where their prices are thinner, get noticed faster.
Signs it's coming: your maximum stake shrinks, bets get "referred to a trader", offers and boosts disappear. It can take weeks or months — or never happen, depending on the bookie and how you bet.
How to be ready
- Open 2–3 accounts at licensed bookmakers in your country before you start. Check which ones carry the leagues on my bookmakers list.
- Verify them (ID check) on day one, so a withdrawal never gets stuck later.
- Spread your bets instead of putting every pick on one account, and take whichever has the best price that day.
- Withdraw profits regularly. Money sitting in a bookie account is money you don't control.
- Respect the minimum odds. If the price fell below the minimum on the card, skip it — chasing a bad price costs you the edge and the account.
- Keep a record. Tap ✅ I bet it under the picks you play and /mystats shows your real results in your money.
- Betting exchanges don't limit winners, but eSoccer liquidity there is thin — useful as a backup, not a main account.
What never to do
Don't use someone else's account, fake details or a VPN to get around a limit or a country block. It breaks the terms, and the usual outcome is a closed account and confiscated winnings — money that was already yours. Only bet where it's legal for you.

Maybe, eventually — it happens to anyone who wins consistently at value prices. Having several accounts ready is how you keep betting when one gets tight.
What if my bookie doesn't offer a pick?
Skip it. Never bet a different market or a lower price just to have action — the record is only worth following when you follow it as posted.
Can I start with less than €300?
