Volta never really sleeps: kickoffs every few minutes, morning, afternoon and the middle of the night (all times here are UTC). Many bookies only open the markets shortly before kickoff — so when a line appears, it doesn't hang around for long.

Full-time goals in 8,335 official Volta matches. Overall, the coin-flip line — where Over and Under each landed about half the time — was 5.5 goals. But Volta is a party with very different rooms: league averages go from 4.9 to 7.6 goals per match (table above), so the right line depends a lot on the league. How I play it

Volta is mostly a totals game for me: over/under goals, where pricing mistakes are easiest to measure. One hot player can blow a line wide open, so your unit stays exactly the same as in 2×4 — wild doesn't mean bigger — and the minimum odds rule is sacred.
