How to spot a fake tipster
The tipster world is full of screenshots and empty promises. Here's a checklist — judge me by it too.
Red flags
- Guaranteed profit. Nobody can promise it. Anyone who does is selling a fairy tale.
- Only winning screenshots. Screenshots are easy to fake or cherry-pick. Where are the losses?
- Picks posted after the match. Any record needs picks published before kickoff.
- Deleted losers. If a pick can vanish, the record means nothing.
- No stake sizes. "Won 10 bets" says nothing without odds and units.
- Pressure. "Only 3 spots left!" is a sales tactic, not analysis.
What a trustworthy record looks like
- Every pick is posted before the match with odds, stake and minimum price.
- Results are settled automatically with the official score, not by hand.
- The full history — wins and losses — is public and can't be edited.
- A long sample: hundreds of bets, not a lucky week.
